How to get Chelsea tickets (2026/27)

🎟️ The membership ladder

• True Blue / True Blue+ — same ticket odds either tier: you're entered into both the True Blue and CFC Blue windows, two shots at every home match. True Blue+ only adds CFC+ content and retail perks — don't pay up for tickets alone.
• CFC Blue — one shot only, the ringfenced window; lower priority than True Blue's double entry.
• Junior Blue — under-16s; enters through either the True Blue or CFC Blue window alongside an eligible adult (18+) in the same group.

🛠️ Set up once, properly

1. Buy True Blue (or True Blue+) at chelseafc.com — one membership per real person; the club bans thousands each season for misuse.
2. Save a payment card — applying puts a temporary authorisation hold to confirm it, refunded immediately; you're only actually charged if you're drawn.
3. Get The Firm's Chelsea alerts, so you never miss a window.
4. Announced, not live yet: Chelsea says everyone 16+ will need online ID verification before purchasing — but the club's own wording is "confirmed in due course," so don't expect it at signup today. The Firm will flag it the moment it actually appears.
5. Already real: at each home game, ~1,000 purchasers are randomly picked for an in-person ID check at the Ticket Collection Point on matchday — a spot-check, not something to plan a purchase around.

🗳️ The application window

1. The Firm alerts you when Chelsea announces a window (opens/closes dates, tiers, loyalty-point status), then again the morning it opens.
2. Apply any time before it closes — early doesn't help, late doesn't hurt. Groups of up to 4 go in together: all-or-nothing, everyone must qualify for the same window.
3. Loyalty-point gated fixtures: the whole group needs the threshold. Totals are frozen once the window opens, so check yours beforehand — if an alert says "Threshold TBC," Chelsea hasn't published the number yet, and The Firm will catch the follow-up.
4. Window closes → random draw → you'll hear by email within 2 working days. Drawn = charged automatically. Not drawn = priority access to the Ticket Exchange (below) — nothing charged.

🔁 The Exchange — better than it was

Missed out or can't attend? Unsuccessful applicants get priority access to the Ticket Exchange once Chelsea opens it for that match (announced per fixture). It now stays open until 3 hours before kick-off — sold out on Tuesday isn't sold out on matchday morning. One catch: account credit can't be used for Application Window purchases — only away tickets, the Exchange, or season renewals.

🎯 Loyalty points — the currency

Points are earned by attending, not just buying — including exchange and forwarded tickets. Away purchases still earn.
